I did another couple of hours today. I t looks finished, although there are two details at least that I want to finish on Wednesday evening at the group. Here's the 4 photos from yesterday : -
- and now here's the two I took today: -
Can you tell which bit I still need to finish? You'll maybe have to look very closely to find it.

Traction Engine - Work in Progress
For some reason I didn't take a scan of this one after I'd sketched it out but before I started painting it. I spent 2 hours on it on Wednesday evening, and I spent another 3 hours this morning. Nowhere near finished yet, but here's 4 photos I took at the start, and then throughout the morning: -

Small Canvas - Blackpool Tower and Tram
Second take on a Blackpool balloon tram, but the first on a small canvas, and the first with the Tower in the background. Here it is: -

Small Canvas - class 52 'Western' Diesel Hydraulic in Paddington
There's no doubt about it in my mind, diesels are easier to paint than steam locomotives. It's all in the wheels. Here's the painting: -
I say it as shouldn't, but I don't think that this is at all a bad painting. It's a nice companion piece to the Deltic I painted a few months ago.

I received a very nice email from the gentleman who bought this painting: -
It's always nice when someone likes your work enough to want to purchase it for themselves, and even nicer when they take time and trouble to tell you that they like it. The gentleman in question informed me that this was a number 12 tram, and the scene was in Cathcart Street. He lives there now, and has commissioned me to paint the street for him.

Small Canvas - Swansea Tram
Yes, another small canvas of a Swansea Bay Tram. Again, the scan does no favours to the painting - what it has done to the pale blue sky is nobody's business.

Port Talbot - Barclays Bank
I painted the HSBC last week - now here's Barclays: -
Again, I have to say that my poor old scanner hasn't done the painting any favours. For one thing, once again it has made the green of the road surface just grey again. When I can take a better photo of it I will. As it is, this has cut off the bottom and the right of the picture too.

Small Canvas - GWR Locomotive
I sketched this one out yesterday, and painted it in one session this afternoon.
It's another small canvas, and I have to say that I'm quite pleased with it. Comparing it with my very first acrylic painting, I think you can see some improvement: -
I include the Deltic painting in the comparison as well because that's one of my favourite paintings I've produced, and I think that the steam locomotive is comparable, and that's apart from the similarities in the palettes of both paintings. OK, painting isn't a competition, but all the same it's nice to think that you're getting better at what you do.
